Bertrix es un sitio ideal para moverse por el sur de la provincia de Luxemburgo, especialmente por el valle del Semois. En un radio de media hora se puede llegar a muchos sitios atractivos y practicar distintas actividades. La casa y la habitación muy limpia y espaciosa. La dueña prepara unos desayunos estupendos en los que se ve que ha puesto cariño. Es buena conversadora y muy interesante. La experiencia hizo honor al nombre de la casa, porque fue "inesperada", ya que habíamos reservado en otro sitio y resultó que al llegar estaba lleno y elegimos un poco al azar esta casa.

La casa es de tres plantas: en la parte baja hay salón, con sofá acogedores, cucina, muy bien equipada de todos y un aseo. En la primera planta está la habitación matrimonial y baño con ducha grande y cómoda. En la segunda planta hay una habitación doble. Nel baño hay también una lavadora y jabón por si necesitas usarla. Hemos estado muy a gusto,los niños enamorados del jardín. Super silencioso. Los dueños muy amables y buena gente. Si tuviéramos que volver por aquella zona, volveríamos a reservar con mucho gusto.

I ended up at this hotel in order to be on time for an early morning meeting in France. I wasn't expecting much of a hotel in the wilderness of the Ardennes. This place came as a very pleasant surprise. It is a little boutique hotel located in the charming village of Herbeaumont. It is surrounded by thick pine forests and the Semois river which are well worth exploring. The hotel itself is modern. The bedrooms are immaculately appointed with a very tasteful decor. Unusually, the furniture is of good quality - not the usual mix of cheap chipboard thoughtlessly thrown together. The hosts are a couple who run the pizzeria on the ground floor. Their pizzas are excellent and very good value for money. The pizzeria is also where they serve breakfast. I had an early start to make to get to my destination. The hosts obligingly woke up early to serve me an early breakfast - on a Sunday morning! It is unusual for me to write such a positive review. In this instance, it is richly deserved

A great place to spend a weekend in couple or with family/friends. A very friendly and welcoming owner. Highly recommend a restaurant which is in the same building - fresh local products, good value for money. A beautiful garden (where you can have breakfast if the weather is good) and a swimming pool are additional pluses.

Very friendly hosts! Excellent breakfast. Excellent beds and everything was there in the apartment, like coffee, tea, sugar, cups, plates etc. very clean too! We loved it.

Highly recommended! We received a warm and friendly welcome with fresh apple juice. Everything is spotless. Our room was spacious with 2 single beds and basin. There was an extra room with couch, table, tv, kettle, free coffee and tea and an honesty mini-bar. The shower is great, breakfast was delicious with artisinal products and home made jam/compote. We (2 friends) stayed 2 nights and went for lively walks in the vicinity. Will definitely return!
