Ria and Luc are the most welcoming of hosts, their house is immaculately clean and beautifully presented. Breakfast was a triumph on of culinary delights with a wide range of fresh fruits, cheeses, breads and fresh Pancakes. Great location (easy to find, short walk into town for dinner). B&B part has its own access, so you can come and go without disturbing the owners. Spacious, quiet, comfortable, private, clean accommodation. Breakfast was good value. Helpful and kind owners.

Great stay in this small town - feels like a gem! We were 'upgraded' to stay in the actual hotel vs the guesthouse down the street. We enjoyed being in the building with the restaurant - which we also ate at and loved!

It is a wonderful experience to spend a night in a historical building. The accommodations were surprisingly comfortable and the staff was top notch. The beds were excellent--I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to learn more about a safe space during a ghastly war.

Lovely hotel room overlooking the main square of Poperinge (we were actually upgraded from the Maison de la Paix, which is owned by the central hotel of the same name). Room was modern and well-equipped, with a pleasant terrace - perfect location to explore the surrounding hop fields, breweries and cafes (which we would hugely recommend!).

The location, the cleanlinless and the wonderful hosts. We only had to ask and they would do their best to accommodate us. Secure parking for our bikes and recharging points a bonus. Had a couple of meals which were so tasty and breakfast was more than ample. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

we got upgraded and had a water bed and an outside patio. it’s too bad we weren’t staying longer. we had breakfast delivered to our room and it was amazing. very nice!
