We loved the ambience, away from the crowds of Banff and Lake Louise. Yoho National Park had a lot to offer. Coming back to a clean comfortable lodge after a long hike was the highlights. Thank you Bruce and Kathy.

What a beautiful B&B and what a lovely reception. Surrounded by a beautiful garden with an amazing view; especially early mornings when the mountain tops are being lit by the first sunbeams 🏔. Inside the B&B there was nothing you can think of that was missing. Everything was thought of and everything was clean and tidy. Our stay in these quiet surroundings was a very pleasant experience and worthy of a recommendation. We stayed here for only one night, but we would have even enjoyed a longer stay. As the icing on the cake, Jeannie treated us to an amazing and extensive breakfast, even for me; I have a gluten allergy and that was not a problem for Jeannie. What a treat! My husband and I both work in the airline industry so we spend a lot of time in 4-star hotels. I rate hotels also by the quality of the shower 🚿… This one is amazing!!! What a great water pressure and great temperature. That was an added bonus on top of everything else that was great. We very much enjoyed our stay here!!!

The building is appealingly decorated, has a beautiful, spacious dining room with a wonderful breakfast featuring homemade food. There is a hot tub outdoors and a gathering room for guests. It was an exceptionally pleasant place to stay, and I felt it was nice that it was just outside of the town, with a view across to the mountains.

we spent the last 2 nights at the Lodge and the experience was truly exceptional. Brandy made us feel truly at home, the lodge is beautifully designed, the room was cosy and clean and breakfast was excellent! thank you for the great hospitality!

Very comfortable, with everything we could possibly need. Hosts were very friendly and made us feel welcome and had plenty of information for us. Breakfast was amazing .the best we have had! Hot tub was great after a day of hiking. Five star accommodation.

Home away from home. Property is immaculate and wonderfully equipped with absolutely everything you would need in a mountain cabin. We looked forward to returning to our cabin after every hike in Yoho and Banff national parks. Excellent hosts.

Everything was amazing: huge room with comfortable beds, huge shower, great communal living room. We checked in using a link we received and then got a pin for the front door and for our door. Very quiet neighborhood. There are no shops for breakfast, I believe, but you have a lot of options in Golden. I believe this is actually a ski resort that is being rented out to hikers and other travelers outside the ski season.

Vagabond Lodge was an exceptional place to stay. It was in a fabulous location, spotlessly clean, lots of relaxing spaces to use and very tasty and fresh breakfast options. We went for our honeymoon and Ken and Lori made us so welcome and helped us plan many days out exploring this beautiful area, we will definitely be back!
