Beautiful view, excellent breakfast at a great rate. Very quiet rural area, but 30 min from Portee and only 5 minutes from the town of Uig, which has ferry service to other islands. We had a nice day trip to the Fairy Pools one day, then another to the Old Man of Storr and a trip around the top of the island on the return. Angus responds quickly to whatever you need, and there is a fridge and microwave to make some homemade quick meals. I thought sharing a bath would be a nuisance, but even when booked full, it was not. There is a nice large bathroom upstairs with a shower and a toilet and sink downstairs. There are few restaurants nearby, but you have to reserve in advance, both nearby and in Portree. I suggest the Uig Hotel. They have espresso coffee and a delicious breakfast.

It was a beautiful spot near the beach. The owner left cereal, milk, and other amenities for breakfast. There was also nice little touches from the owner in the cottage that made it feel homey. The bed was comfortable. Would stay here again.

This was our favourite stay in all of Scotland. The property is so peaceful with a beautiful sunset view. The hostess is very kind and welcoming, she even surprised me with some gluten free breakfast items and snacks. The space is comfortable and nicely furnished. Thanks for making us feel at home.
