Everything..Adam and lee were amazing hosts. Restaurant Food was very good indeed. The bar was a small village bar with a wonderful friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Bed super comfortable, very clean rooms and tea coffee tray very well stocked. Fans are supplied in the rooms (so regards old comments about rooms being hot ) this was NOT an issue for us. Thank you so much for an amazing stay Adam and Lee

If you like classic old inns, you will love the Old Down Inn. Beautifully maintained buildings and grounds, Maxine has lovely gardens. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. Great beds! Bathroom was modern and clean. Breakfast was very good.

Very comfortable and in an annex to the pub so quiet in the evening even when the pub is busy. The breakfast was very nice and the staff welcoming. They always asked what time we want breakfast so it was fast and tasty.

Nice clean rooms, very warm and cozy. It was a pleasant surprise to receive a packed breakfast as a bonus. We were mesmerized with a beautiful countryside, the building is very old, but well-maintained, and has its special charm.
