We were very late for the check in time, but the staff was extremely kind and waited for us til 1:30am. The rooms were very clean and spacios. The location from airport - perfect. It was quiet around and the beds were comfortable :)

The location was perfect and to say it was right near the airport and roads leading to it, it was quite quiet. Lovely cottage that felt homely, the room was just what I needed and it was comfy. The lady as lovely who runs it and price was worth it. I will definitely be keeping this property in mind for further stays

We were hiking Hadrian's Wall and stayed at the Boathouse. The staff was very friendly and the accommodations were perfect for four tired hikers. The unique pub serves Thai food that is delicious! The owner went out of his way to be sure we had everything we needed. The Boathouse at Wylam left us smiling and laughing.
