The cabin was great, the hosts were great, breakfast was nice and diverse. Majdal Shams is an excellent base for hiking (if the temperatures allow) and for water activities (because the temperatures did not allow hiking). People are extremely nice, and the best hamburger place in srael is located there 🙂

The guest house is beautiful and pretty. We had our own bedroom with bathroom and the living room and kitchen were shared, however, because we were the only guests we had everything to ourselves. Basel and his sister were super accommodating, when we needed an oven that was not present in the kitchen they took us to their own kitchen and when we needed some more time after check out they let us stay!

The property is only 20 minutes away from the lower lift of Mount Hermon and is set in the charming village of Mahdel Shams. We were a family with 4 adults and two children and had a great time. I highly recommend staying here.

The cozy and inviting hut had all the amenities one could ask for and charming little touches throughout. The hospitality of the host was exceptional, including a homemade cake as a treat and also mailing us something we forgot. All comfortably coordinated over chat with great availability and patience.
