Excellent location, warm-homey feel with extremely nice and gracious hosts! From the minute we checked in the hosts made us feel right at home. The gentleman that checked us in gave us a run down of the city and some recommendations. The place itself was a bit different at first, as it seems like a big flat that was converted into a small boutique style hotel. This adds to the charm though, with warm decor, a kitchen with free drinks, ice cream, tea, coffee, and a dining area that can also be used to work. Several metro and bus stops are only 2-3 minutes away, and everything is flat and very walkable. There a tons of bars and eateries near by, and this place was just at the center of it all! Lastly, I just wanted to thank the staff for allowing us to check out a little later, and to hang out in the dining area as we worked and killed a few hours before taking a high speed train. Again, everyone was more than helpful and kind to us and we couldn’t recommend this place enough to anyone who asks. When back in Barcelona, we will love to stay here again. Thank you Conica!

Hostal La Placeta is located in Camprodón, Girona, 20 km from Vallter 2000 Ski slopes. It has rooms with heating and private bathroom. The lady that runs the place is just.. AWESOME, so nice, very gentle. She also cooks delicious pastries for breakfast, which is also made of salty food (and with local dried sausages 😋). The lady is a grandmother, you can even meet her family at some point of the day.. they're lovely people, very welcoming! Also, talking about the room: quiet, with a good bed: it is a simple place, where you feel cosy!

Pension Ciudadela guest house is opposite Barcelona’s França Train Station and 100 metres from Ciudadela Park. It offers basic air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, and private bathroom facilities. Very central location. Right next to the train station and El Born neighborhood so lots of restaurants and bars nearby. My room had it own little balcony as well which I really appreciated.

Super impressed with Sandra’s abilities to welcome us like we’re friends. She is the director/manager of the hotel and made sure everything was meeting our needs, and did this with such happiness. I will miss seeing her! She’s wonderful! The staff very nice, the breakfast was fresh & yummy each morning. I love the rooftop garden & the decor/style of the hotel. I want to stay there again! Highly recommend.
