Extras include linen and ironing facilities. All of the rooms benefit from air conditioning. This is a very clean, stylish pub. Lovely pressed white linen and beautiful, soft bath sheets. Quiet room, excellent shower. Food was delicious with a great variety even for a fussy eater. The full English breakfast was excellent and cooked fresh whilst you waited. The variety for breakfast was huge. Lovely beer garden and ample parking. Excellent staff. Bus out the front for a 10 minute ride to York city centre.

Ashfield House was beautiful accomodation. Located in the centre of the village, but very quiet. Everything about it was high quality and tasteful. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices. You cannot go wrong choosing to stay at Ashfield House.

Never saw so many electric sockets in a bedroom. All the sheep references. ... ewe have to smile at the legends on the toilet doors. RAMS and EWES. And breakfast menu quotes the Full flock for the fry.
