A very comfortable bed and if we revisit Harleem we will definitely return.

We booked during kermis, so we had noise from the outside, but had nothing to do with the nice room we had and the amazing staff.

A perfect location - few minutes away from the Amstredam Centraal, but very, very quite with a nice canal view right in front of the doors and good places to have breakfast / lunch just around the corner (or, across the bridge - to be more precise) . The room is not too big. In fact, it's quite ascetic - though there is a private bathroom with shower and bed is very comfortable - much better comparing to well known hotel chains in Europe. The building is historic, which means one sometimes can hear some noises from other persons living there (like somebody climbing stairs), but that definitely is a minor thing - it just confirms the authenticity of the building. David is very friendly and helpful person. It's easy and pleasant to communicate with him and to agree about the details.

I can only imagine sitting on the covered terrace, looking at the lake and the lights on the opposite side, on a warm summer evening...the weather was cold and very windy during my visit in April but the view was still beautiful. I wish I could have stayed for more than one night.
