But best of all, you get to experience Toutou’s amazing hospitality: from cookies with your name baked into them on arrival, to the best local recommendations for all places nearby like El Jem, Kairouan, and Monastir, Toutou really makes you feel at home. The property is also located in a quiet residential area, away from the tourist traps. I would absolutely recommend staying at Dar Hkaïem.

Das Hotel befindet sich in einer wunderschönen kleinen Stadt, ruhig und safe die Leute sind sehr freundlich und es ist absolut sicher. 5 min von Strand entfernt und alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe besonders einen "Brick Meister" 😋wenn man Lust auf traditionelle Brick hat. Das Personal im Hotel war mega nett besonders Frau Farah 💞 und Frau Saoussan die waren immer hilfsbereit und haben sehr leckeres Frühstück täglich für uns vorbereitet. Unser Zimmer war sehr Sauber und bequem zum Schlafen. Das Hotel ist absolut zum weiterempfehlen. Herzlichen Dank nochmal 🙏🏻

We had the most perfect ending of our trip in Tunisia at this little gem in Hergla. To be honest, we already had quite high expectations of our stay because of the good reviews. Actually we didn't know much about Hergla and we came mostly for L'artisan and the fact that Hergla was a small place close to the sea. Both Hergla and L'artisan surpassed our expectations. Hergla is such a nice little relaxed town. It didn't feel crowded with turists and it still had a sleepy holiday vibe to it. The houses are beautiful and the people are friendly. Our room at L'artisan was huge and beautifully decorated and the owner went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect stay. The owner is an excellent chef (and by excellent i really mean excellent). Everything we had from his kitchen was top notch - he even arranged for us to go on a boat trip with a local friend and his son, and when we spontaneously decided to buy fish from local guys during this trip he prepared them for us for dinner. Go here, you won't regret it.

Hanen quickly responded to my messages and helped out when needed. Multitalented Sana was there at all times, from early morning to late at night. Made my stay most memorable with her bright smile, large caring heart and most of all her fabulous cooking. Loved every minute of my 3 days stay 🥰
