Anneke was an amazing host. She was so warm and welcoming and made us feel at home the moment we set foot on her beautiful property. You can tell she puts her heart and soul into everything she does, and it shows! Our room was beautiful ,immaculate, and spacious, and the decor was so lovely. The bed was probably the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The setting in the woods was a perfect way to unwind and forget your day to day worries. We loved seeing her adorable chickens and the wild bunnies. After our day outing, we were always greeted with a warm smile from Anneke and a cup of tea. Her breakfasts were so delicious and kept you fueled for most of the day. The presentation with flowers on the food was such a creative touch! We have stayed in a few bed and breakfasts over the years, but none of the hosts were as personable as her! Anneke is truly in a class of her own. Thank you for making our mini getaway such a delightful experience. We will most definitely be coming back. Marko & Desiree

Hans and Tanis are the hosts of this beautiful property and were as sweet, welcoming and helpful as 3 years ago. Qualicum Beach is a beautiful sea side village and the wonderful house of Hans and Tanis, with the beautiful garden provide an oasis of tranquility. We surely will come back. Thank you so much. Absolutely stunning location and breathtaking views of bay. Extremely helpful friendly staff and owner who took over and sorted us out when there was a problem with our booking.

Very private, quiet, close to the beach,.it's quite homey beds are good if eclectic in arrangement. All the basics are in the room but a very minimal kitchenette. Owner is kind and thoughtful, can supply you with whatever you may have forgotten in kitchenware. The dining table is nice touch and pleasant place to eat. The big windows make the space quite light even tho it's on the lower level of the house, the plus is the car is right out front and you have a patio. The yard is gated with a drive through driveway. The addition of keypad locks is nice you don't need a key but you develop speedy fingers to lock and unlock the door! We will be back again because it feels comfortable staying there.

It is such a magical place, we really wish we would have stayed longer. The whole place and the wetlands around are the perfect hideout to relax! We hope to be back in the near future!
