Traveling with my elderly mother and cousins. Perfect for 3 couples. Even better than the pictures. Clean, well stocked kitchen, great bathrooms. Perfect location - walked down to the boardwalk along the bay and then across the street to dinner.

Anneke was an amazing host. She was so warm and welcoming and made us feel at home the moment we set foot on her beautiful property. You can tell she puts her heart and soul into everything she does, and it shows! Our room was beautiful ,immaculate, and spacious, and the decor was so lovely. The bed was probably the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The setting in the woods was a perfect way to unwind and forget your day to day worries. We loved seeing her adorable chickens and the wild bunnies. After our day outing, we were always greeted with a warm smile from Anneke and a cup of tea. Her breakfasts were so delicious and kept you fueled for most of the day. The presentation with flowers on the food was such a creative touch! We have stayed in a few bed and breakfasts over the years, but none of the hosts were as personable as her! Anneke is truly in a class of her own. Hans and Tanis are the hosts of this beautiful property and were as sweet, welcoming and helpful as 3 years ago. Qualicum Beach is a beautiful sea side village and the wonderful house of Hans and Tanis, with the beautiful garden provide an oasis of tranquility. We surely will come back. Thank you so much. The host was super. The room we had had everything. The bed was super comfortable. The town is very near with shops, restaurants and beach.

It is such a magical place, we really wish we would have stayed longer. The whole place and the wetlands around are the perfect hideout to relax! We hope to be back in the near future!
