What an amazing place to stay in Powell River! The cottage was so clean and comfortable and we instantly felt at home. Sue and Don are incredibly kind and helpful hosts.

Studio One, as many others have noted, is very well equipped. Lots of pots and pans in a full galley-type kitchen. There is a full stove, a microwave and a decent size fridge. Very comfortable bed and pillows. It’s spacious for a studio and cool, probably the most important asset. Again as other reviewers have mentioned the shower is fabulous. Great location, close to Pebble Beach, Saltery Bay Park and Powell River, with its fabulous Historic Townsite; it’s certainly a beautiful area. Oh and the wifi was excellent. That’s important, as you can’t get service in some spots. Finally the hosts were very kind.

The location, views and amenities were amazing. We had the best time, we loved it so much we want to book again. Also toddler friendly as patio has locked gate, so you and your partner can enjoy the views care free.

I loved the rugged cabin feel and remote location, as well as the access to a private beach. Plenty of room to stay with a family and all the comforts of a home.

Great stay for our family of 7, 3 generations, in the top 3 bedroom suite. Fully equipped kitchen, large rooms, beautiful deck over looking the ocean. We loved the hanging king size bed/day bed on the deck, and we stay in it for hours reading/web surfing listing to the ocean waves. 1 block away from a fantastic beach with large stretch of sand during low tide. Great swimming spot. Mr. Higgins / Rob is warm, courteous, goes out of his way to accommodate us. Our youngest enjoyed playing with the dog and feeding the fish and cats. Laundry on site can be used by guests. This is our second year. Love this inn for our family.
