Perfect place to spend some time in Ipiales. The staff was wonderful and helped with questions and issues, the cmmon areas are nice, it feels a bit like home. I got extra blankets to keep me warm, the dorm beds are big and confortable. I felt super safe walking the streets (daytime).

Beautiful unassuming apartment off one of the main roads (en route to Las Lajas) in Ipalias, but the apartment is located in the back, and there was little, if any, road noise. Also very close to the bus station. Well stocked kitchen - even a blender. Salt and sugar were provided. Very comfortable and extra blankets in the closet. Short walk to a Tienda D1, and the market area (fruits y vegetables). There's also a patio and courtyard, which was a nice gathering place. The host is absolutely lovely, kind, and helpful. She assisted us with recommendations and securing transportation. We highly recommend it.

Quite a good hotel. Workers were hospitable. Well-located: the bus stop to the Ecuador border is nearby, taxis to Las Lajas are located a 10 minutes walk. There's an electric shower, which means that you don't have a problem with hot water.
