Impessionante a hospitalidade do casal Aracely e Franklin! nos receberam muito bem, ja passam todas as infomações que voce precisa, nem precisa perguntar só esperar que a Aracely ira explicar em sua chegada, a pousada é bem tranquila, ótima para curtir o clima das montanhas e da janela ja poderá avistar o Cotopaxi! Para ir ao parque optei pela comodidade e fomos de transfer! há opções para ir ate a porta e esperar carona, mas dependendo do dia da semana podera ter que esperar demais. A opções de comer tambem, experimentamos a sopa que estava deliciosa. Sem dúvidas ficaria novamente e recomendarei a meus amigos. Obs. a Pousada é muita bem limpa e tem uma ótima cozinha para cozinhar! Gracias por Todo Chicos!!

Very peaceful area with plenty of common areas to sit. The owners are nice and very knowledgeable on all things nature related. Free hot water readily available. The BnB is close to the main square of Machachi. Nice kitchen in the cabin.

Large, new, modern, well-appointed room set in a small garden behind a house (so it's quiet). Cleaned daily if you so wish. Very comfortable bed. Wifi is strong and shower is hot (two essentials for me!). The kitchen (containing the breakfast area) at the back of the garden is free to use, as is the washing machine in the laundry room. Bonus! Tania and her husband are a treasure trove of information regarding climbing the volcanoes in the area. In fact, when I mentioned Ruminahui, they (as keen hikers themselves) offered to take me to the start of the southern route. We climbed together for a while, after which they directed me to the summit. I got lost coming back (my fault!), but they waited more than two hours for me. Later, when I offered to pay, they said, 'It is a courtesy of the guesthouse.' A truly lovely couple. My experience in Machachi couldn't have been better thanks to them. One of the best places I've stayed in Ecuador. And I loved the ancient German Shepherd that greets you at the gate!

With Ruta de los volcanos we really found a hidden gem! Darwin was an excellent host and is really talented. First and foremost he is an exceptional chef and prepared the best dinner for us that we had an our entire trip in Ecuador. We expected very simple food as the place is very remote but learned that he is known for his great cuisine in the entire area! And on top of that he was so helpful with the planning for our hiking. We went on a very tough hiking trip up to the peak of Rumiñahui and Darwin showed us the route on the map with a lot of patience. For Cotopaxi he organized a guide including transport and for both days we got an excellent lunch box provided. All came at a reasonable cost. There is free drinking water which you can fill your bottles with and all requests we had were fulfilled with care and joy. We almost felt like part of the family. Our room had an excellent view and the location is really ideal for hiking or any other activity around and on the volcanos. The fire in the evening was so cozy to relax and recover from a day in the mountains. We highly recommend Ruta de Los Volcanos and would certainly stay here again if we were back in the area! Thank you, Darwin and family, for making us feel like home far away from our home 😊
