Staff were incredibly friendly. Perfect location for the Quilotoa lake, only a short walk away from main view point and starting location for the hike. Bus dropped us right next to the hostel. Dinner and break was filling.

Lovely place, lots of blankets. Big double bed per person. We dropped out bags off here before heading up to do the full crater hike then back down to here. It is the town before the crater (if you’re heading form sigchos) so unless you want to do the full crater walk then finish the next day you might want to stay here at the end of day #3.

Wonderful hostel, with great location, and a very friendly host. The path to Quilotoa starts from their backyard, they also tell you details about the trails. Highly recommended.

Walter and Narcisa were so kind to us! It felt more like a home stay than a hostal. They even arranged a special breakfast for my husbands birthday! I would absolutely recommend this hostal to anyone! The shower was hot, the beds were comfortable, and the food was delicious. There is also a lovely patio space upstairs.

A nice and friendly family running this hostal with a lot of love. Our room was amazing, the bath and shower top! The WiFi was good enough and the food was excellent. Free banana bread, tea, coffee and water made it just perfect. Go here and not in the overhyped cloud forest.
