Visited for a one night stay with my elderly father as we needed to be in the area. Staff very helpful to us. Late arrival and early start so we were not able to sample the breakfast but the room was clean and comfortable. The bad wasn't as comfortable as my own but ok for a short stay. Overall very pleased and good value for money for the area.

The added bonus was good ale in the pub and an excellent sharing platter of Greek deliciousness. Getting some fresh air with a walk through the village was also very pleasant. The Stags Head beats the chain hotels by miles.
