I did have some issues activating the keypad and had to reach out to the host who promptly responded. Once I got the hang of it there were no issues. The accommodations were GORGEOUS and were in the BEST spot. There was so much to walk to including stores, bars, restaurants, and row boats that you row yourself!

It even has a large modern shower. Hidden away was a pull down comfy double mattress. It must have great insulation because when it rained it I couldn’t hear it and felt warm and cozy.

Our host went out of her way to make our stay comfortable, including providing the special bread and milk we prefer. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds, and the living area, kitchen and bathroom were ideal for 3 people. The quiet village location was delightful whilst being very convenient for visiting Durham by car or bus. We took our dog, who enjoyed local walks.
