Breakfast was generous and very tasty. Local fish, fresh fruit, eggs, toast and preserves. Bed was perfect. So comfortable. Perfect location down near the pier.

Indeed, I walked in the evening from the hotel to each of these, usually having the site to myself. Skara Brae was close too. The Orkney West Coast Path, which runs from Stromness past Skara Brae to Birsay, was also easy to get to from the hotel.

We didn't have an exact arrival time but she was helpful and accommodating on the phone and in person. Our twin room was lovely and good value for money, with comfy beds. The full Scottish breakfast was massive and kept me going for most of the day! The property is also only a 15min walk down into the village of Stromness.AlisonGroup
