This is a beautiful property and without doubt the most luxurious and well maintained property in the area. It is an escape from the busy market town, somewhere to just relax after a day exploring. We were delighted to find such a large well appointed and luxurious villa with great staff. The owner was able to accommodate a request for breakfast and organise dinners for us also (at extra cost) which was great. This property very much has an international feel to it in the way they look after you. We had not planned to spend so much time in the villa but it was so good we spend more time in than out.

We met the wonderful Deni and Robby here. They showed us around Sumatra. We had a great and fun time with them touring around. Two wonderful guys we won't ever forget. Back to the hotel. Rooms are adequate, pizza is nice and the personnel is lovely. Anything can be arranged (transport, tour, etc). There is a good view of Sibayak and Sinabung on clear days.

Besides explaning all the facilities/activities in the village, there are options to have delicious breakfast and diner at the homestay. We did the Gunung Sibayak volcano tour together with Abdy, which was fantastic. You will explore the volcano during sunrise, learn a lot about the surroundings and laugh with Abdy. Highly recommend to stay with Nachelle Homestay!

Although they’re not right in the centre of town, Mery provides recommendations for nearby places to eat and how to get about using local transport. Make sure you do the volcano tour with Abdy, he makes it much more interesting and fun than it would be if you went alone. We also did the Lingga village and volcano centre/ghost town tour with him which was great.
