The position of the property was ideal, close to the beach and many other facilities/outings within driving distance. Also dog friendly which was a big positive for me.

everything! it’s a perfect place to stay ! lovely view ! lovely host ! really like the place ! full furnish to cook a great dinner after a big day of cycling ! I really recommend you this place ! special thanks for the host we are very welcome and nice ! can’t wait my next stay in the honeycomb and bike tour in the Donegal !

Offering barbecue facilities and mountain view, Assaroe House is set in Ballyshannon, 16 km from Donegal Golf Club and 28 km from Sean McDiarmada Homestead.

It’s a nice private house with two kind hosts. The Deluxe room was spacious, warm and clean with big enough private bathroom. The breakfast was Irish style and delicious, the hostess could probably cook you anything you wanted. The hosts joined us at breakfast to talk and share experiences and give some advice about sights to see and treated us like their family. Thank you very much!
