Ideally set in Kilkenny, Butler House offers an à la carte breakfast and free WiFi. This guest house provides free private parking and a 24-hour front desk.

The breakfast was very good, the eggs were cooked just right. The room was very big with soft carpets. Only after visiting the castle (just 5 minutes by foot) we learned that the house has a historical importance. It's also 5-7 minutes by foot in another direction to the older part of the town with a lot of bars and other landmarks. There was a private parking available.

This was our first stay in Ireland and it set the bar very high. Jo, is fabulous. It’s a bit far from town but she drove us in and picked us up both nights of our stay. We loved it here, the property is so charming and we were more than comfortable. 100/10

Breakfast was an absolute delight every morning , we couldn t wait to see what warm baked goods marsha had produced that morning , plus coffee , juice , fruit , yogurt and granola or chia seed pudding or porridge with berries , pastries and butter, milk and jam. Delivered to our door at an arranged time . Marsha and Jimmy could not have been more helpful or considerate . The location is beautiful, very peaceful and well maintained All facilities were clean and in good order . I would highly recommend the yurt at McClure Glamping site . Thankyou so much Marsha and Jimmy Claire Pettyfer
