This place was awesome! if I could rate in above a 10, I most definitely would. This is a homestay and Roisin was extremely welcoming and responsive. The accommodation was beautifully appointed. There is food provided for breakfast in the AM, along with some other snacks, which was great in a make shift kitchenette. Where the bedroom was, required a slight adjustment (for reference I am 178cm/5"10), but was perfectly fine as I navigated it through a couple of days. The bed was comfortable and was wonderful to wake up with the sky lights above the bed. I can see why this place is booked all the time. Additionally, Roisin and her family have two cats, which was a great surprise, as I love cats. Just to reiterate, that cats aren't roaming around the house, in case if some folks have allergies. Lastly, the Malahide beach and the bus stop are just a four minute walk away! All in all, 15/10. Would highly recommend to all! Danke Roisin fur eine guten reisen!!! <3

Breakfast options were left in our private small refrigerator and cupboard. Everything in the house is modern and well done. The decor is lovely.

How do I even begin to describe this place? Dan is an absolutely incredible host, the best one I have ever run into in my life. He is a fellow traveller so he definitely knows what you need. I am not exaggerating when I tell you, my eyes filled in tears with his attentiveness and attention to detail, he gave us the best good bye to a perfect trip. He is easy to reach and always willing to help. The house smells super lovely when you enter, same as the room and even toilet. Everything is spotless clean, the area is super nice and quiet, just next to a small patch of woods so it's dark and quiet at night. The shower is perfect, room temperature is on spot, bed is super comfy and you are provided with everything you would need to have a vast DIY breakfast before heading to the airport, you are even provided with french press to have a proper cup of coffee in the morning and not that soluble rubbish. Cups are big, you have a microwave and mini fridge on the room, the drawers close super quietly and rule number one is to keep it quiet in common areas which is suuuper appreciated. There is a Smart TV quite bigger than the normal TVs we got on the other B&Bs we stayed at on our trip which were super tiny. You are provided a super vastly explained manual on how to operate the TV and with recommendations of the town, Swords. But if you're lucky enough to be greeted by Dan, you won't need this since he explains everything to you. He covered every single detail, I'm super impressed. I was even thinking about moving my flight just to stay one more night here. It's quite easy to reach this cottage by car and Dan explains perfectly how to get here on public transport. I am very thankful for the amazing experience we had here, we even got a few minutes of puppy love, it doesn't get better than that! Thanks a billion, Dan.
