The owner was with plenty of hospitality. He helped me do a trek to Living Bridges and the rainbow waterfalls. He had contacts with drivers and guides. The room was spacious and well-maintained though the price was affordable. Hot water was available for a bath. It was just a 7-minute walk to the city center where I could take a shared cab to Shillong. The owner told me the proper fare.

Kept extending my stay because of how comfortable I felt there, very homely! Wesley was a great host very friendly and always helpful, took me walking to many beautiful forest paths when he had free time and shared lots of insights on Khasi history and culture. Good value tasty nighttime meal and basic breakfast provided. Facilities are not fancy but very well maintained and cleaned daily.
