Indran the caretaker such a humble person made our stay more memorable and he was a spot on, arranged every requirements we had during this stay. I have to search for words in Dictionary to tell about " Kalyani Homestay " in Kodiakanal. How can I tell about their Hospitality which they shown to us while we Stayed in this "Kalyani Homestay " It's Very Very Good. We reached this Kalyani Homestay in early hours i.e at around 2.30 am . They received us with out any difficulty and they Prepared a Tea/Coffee for us. As mentioned in the site , Break fast is free. Have to pay if you order for a Lunch / Dinner and for extra Tea / Coffee. Thanks to Ravi sir & his entire Family.

Space - Private Parking available for cars and even a coach . Security - Gates and barred doors provide good security and it's covered with cctv cameras. Cleanliness - Toiletries are provided and sheets and towels are available on request. Additional beds and quilts are available for use. Other facilities - Kitchen available with full set of essential utensils along with electric kettle and gas stove. Heater was working full time so hot water available full time and the caretaker Selvam went over and beyond in providing great service. Camp fire facilities available on request and home made food available for BF and Dinner. Overall a great experience.

Most sought off location in Kodaikanal. Vattakanal or Vatta, Name tells it all. I would recommend for a Heavenly Suite which has a broader view of the valleys right from the balcony. All the Balconies have private screen hence privacy is not an issue. The Property is fully secured with CCTV with ample Car parking. Breakfast was one of the best in Kodaikanal excellent south indian dishes with Continental combined. The Property has variety of games to engage kids as well as adults. You can also order a souvenir in this place; we took a Magic cup with the pictures taken during the Bon fire. Special thanks to Mr. Peer, Mr. Kunal & Eshwaran for giving that extra homely touch with their extraordinary services.
