Great staff, great people, cordial atmosphere in this guest house which was very cosy, clean and warm. I felt like home ! The kitchen was perfectly equipped and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. It will be definitely one of my favourite places to stay in Norway ! 🇳🇴 I highly recommend it.

Beautiful surroundings... you can walk in the forest. Impressive breakfast... strawberries is the name of the place :). Nice old house... some pieces of real history inside. Very clean. On the main road but quiet as well. Large restaurant at the location. A place where you could relax and forget about anything...

Value for money camping site. The cottage was nicely furnished and the beds were comfortable. The location was good as well. We had to stay here for 1 night but would love to stay here for more nights as well. The staff waited for us to handover the keys to the cottage until late at night.

Great quiet and peaceful location, view on part of the fjord and mountains all around. Easy and spaceous parking, large and fully equipped kitchen, everything matches descriptions and photos.

The Gard is a lovely lodge and the owner ,forgive me, I just forgot his name, is very very hospitable. When we arrived his farm and beautiful gard, he was tidying up the lawn. He welcomed us and led us to the room. I was astonished to see that the bed linens and towels were well prepared, which seemed to be an extra bonus according to original reservation rules. He also offered my daughter a free goat feeding chance. According to the short conversation we had, he was the 13th generation of this beautiful farm and hotel. Frankly speaking，I was quite shocked by his dedication and perseverance to this land. The room No. 1 is like its name , the best one. Actually it's a suite ，a cosy living room with kitchen and refrige, two bedrooms , a shower room and even a cloakroom. How could I imagine more?
