The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast was simple but perfect for our mornings, exactly what we needed. We asked for dinner a few times as well and were served delicious simple food. The laundry service was very helpful. It truly felt like a home and not a hotel!

Shekhar is very generous with sharing his time to show guests around the hidden gems of Bhaktapur and knowledge of Nepali and Newari culture. Staying here wasn’t just a place to sleep, it was an experience of getting to really know the city and Nepali way of life. Staying here also reminded me of the important things in life - good company, community, music, spirituality, art, food, learning and exploring. It was one of the highlights of two months travelling Nepal which speaks volumes :)

We had the chance to get to know the Nepal village life. We have seen how the traditional masks were made and came in contact with a lot of locals. A few shops are inside this little city so we could buy everything we needed and we walked just two minutes to a nice temple. From Changu it took us around 20 minutes by bus until we were in Bhaktapur.ChristinFamily with young children
