Garden Apartment was extremely clean, comfortable and well appointed. It is very private and there is a lovely view of the well kept garden. It is a very short walk to the Main Street of Matakana with all of the wonderful things it has to offer.

Julia is the most wonderful host. She made us feel incredibly welcome and nothing was too much trouble for her. The Columbus suite is spacious and very well appointed and has everything needed to ensure a really comfortable stay. We truly appreciated (and admired) Julia’s attention to detail - evidenced by the fantastic breakfasts she made for us each morning.

The cottage is beautifully presented - the decor and furnishings are lovely and the kitchen has everything we needed. Julia, our host, left us home made granola, baking , jams and fresh fruit, which was so thoughtful . The grounds are beautiful and it was wonderful. It was such a pleasure to be there.Everything about the place was fantastic . I couldn’t recommend it more highly .
