In short, everything. Our host (a delightful lady) was waiting at the gate to greet us. Our room had a balcony overlooking the valley and the village below - perfect to watch the setting sun. Our room was very comfortable, with a marble tiled en-suite. Breakfast (ham, cheese, croissants, tea, coffee, juice etc) is served in a large room and there is a fridge for guests' use. The salt water swimming pool is next to the house and great when the temperature is over 30C. For us, the surrounding area is fantastic - very little traffic and even fewer people. The nearest restaurants are in Mogadouro, a pleasant town,10km away. There are lots of local walks, with leaflets available describing them.

Amazing experience from the beginning till the end. The host was really nice and the house is unique and beautiful. Perfectly cleaned, extremely cozy and very well decorated. The location and the natural surroundings are outstanding. We loved everything, and we will be back many more times!!!
