Everything about this property was top notch: the furnishings, the beds, the shower, the kitchen. Joao brought us a basket of breakfast every morning that was beautiful and incredible. Very thoughtful attention to details! Plus Joao was so friendly and helpful. He greeted us at the door on our arrival and made suggestions for places we might visit. We did a 10k hike that he recommended and it was really enjoyable. I really can’t say enough about him and about the place (did I mention that it is right next to the castle??)! Highly recommended!!!

The free breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect. Easy waking distance to everything and a large H on the rooftop that you can see from anywhere in the village makes it easy to find your way back home any time of night. The village is very social and nice. I get extremely safe traveling alone. Also, free parking was available right outside the hotel.

really nice and cosy house, very traditional. the location is very good, in the front of the castle which makes it really cute! you need a car to get there, and there’s plenty of parking in the front; you can then walk to the village which I would recommend. the house was very clean, and the kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal if you want. the beds are comfortable, and there’s duvets available in case you need if you are cold at night (nights can be cold even though the days are hot). the communication with the host easy and quick.
