We loved the location. It was our first time in Madeira, and we’re so glad we stayed in Seixal first. The town is more remote than Funchal, and the view from the house is amazing! We also liked that there was a private garage, though parking was a bit tricky since it was steep. The house itself is very spacious. We also really appreciated our host, Paulo, and his son, Victor. They were kind and helpful, and gave us great food recommendations in the area.

Super nice location among nature and the best village on Madeira :) Cozy apartment with a great view, good for 1-2 people. You can also count on towels, coffee and tea, which was super helpful in my beach vacation haha. Moreover, the staff was wonderful and really helped me discover the island :D

The views from the garden and upstairs terrace are absolutely phenomenal. Photos don't really do them justice! Seixal is so peaceful. We loved going to sleep to the sound of the ocean and waking to the sound of roosters. The location is great - a 5 minute walk to the beach and with a grocery store/bakery/cafe almost opposite. The kitchen was really well-stacked with plenty of cookware, crockery, pots and pans etc and also oils, vinegars and herbs. We spent five days here after some time in Funchal and didn't hire a car. We enjoyed relaxing with a coffee on the terrace, meandering along the vineyard paths and spending time at the beach. One of our top days was visiting Seixal's natural pools (the views are sensational and it's a beautiful place to swim, plus there's a great juice bar with good music serving a cracking avocado toast). But if we had stayed longer we definitely would have wanted to get out and explore further afield, so a car would have come in handy.

Surrounded by mountains, you sleep and wake up with the sound of the Atlantic Ocean. Next to the accommodation are two restaurants and a small supermarket in the village. Car is recommended if you want to travel around the island.

There is no breakfast at the hotel. The restaurant opens after 13:00. The room is not bad, a view of the sea and the sound of the ocean! Bad water pressure!
