Our time at Shimbwe guest house will always be very memorable. We were greeted with much warmth which continued throughout our stay. There were a couple of miscommunication along the way, but they were dealt with swiftly and effectively. The food really is as good as people say, and the view is even better. (The chef is also a wondeful human!) Victor is not only a kind but gracious host and will go out of his way to make you comfortable and make sure you're having a vest time - as do all the staff. They're all incredibly attentive and go out of their way to make your stay amazing. We even had a bonfire every night and a bbq set up. The waterfall hike with Baraka was a walk I'll never forget. Please just do it now. The walk and the scenery is phenomenal and the guide is so very knowledgeable and helpful thay you can't help but fall in love with him by the end. We also did the day mountain hike which was unforgettable. Our guide Baku was really truly amazing and if you get a chance to go with him you must jump on it. He's very interested in the nountain ans nature and it resllt shines through. He also has wonderul conversation and is keen to learn and to reach. Would absolutely recommend staying here. In fact we were sad we didnt stay long enough!

Karibu Africa Home is a really great place to stay whilst in Moshi. The whole place has a nice atmosphere, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The location is wonderful, close to the city and yet in a quiet and nice neighborhood with good restaurants in walking distance. The host Peter is great, very friendly and super helpful with anything we needed. We did a day excursion to the waterfall and coffee farm with him, which was very fun. He also showed us around the town, so we got to experience Moshi like a local. We were served breakfast in the morning which was very tasty as well. We would always come back!

Far’s place is beautiful, super stylish and very very clean. We had our laundry beautifully washed, the bedding was lovely and we had our best sleeps so far in Tanzania. The meals are terrific. There is nice indoor and outdoor space. When staying with him you can have lots of space and privacy or if you choose (as we did) you can tag along with him. We went to karaoke and the market and shared some meals out because we really enjoyed his company and his friends were welcoming too. When we did things on our own like a trip to the waterfall and a coffee tour he arranged this with great people at a reasonable price. He also helped us out with tuk tuks and cars when we didn’t feel like walking. Moshi is really pretty and nice to walk around. We stayed here because all the reviews said how fun and kind Far is. This is true he is delightful, gracious and he is also professional, reliable and a good communicator. On top of all of that the guesthouse rooms are well equipped, comfortable, and super clean. We do have a good time with Far and we were relaxed, well taken care of and really enjoyed being in his place.

We love Kisanga Homestay- the staff is wonderful and accommodating. The food is excellent! Upenda is a fantastic chef! The rooms are clean and have everything you need! Andersen was so helpful with anything we needed. The Kisanga area is so peaceful and a nice change of pace from Moshi town, as well. This was our first time at Kisanga homestay. Anderson and Upenda treated us like family. We will always stay here when in Moshi!

The breakfast was great! They respected that I'm vegan and cooked Tanzanian vegan food! The bedroom is private and the hosts are very kind people. They were always open to help me, and gave me recommendations, I even found a great Safari tour agency because of them! I would stay here again! and you should too!.

Emma is a lovely host, who does everything for you. Warm lunch, dinner if you want, she drove me in the city to buy a lot of stuff for the Kilimanjaro-Trek since my backpack was lost, so that I could still do it. The house is very clean, good shower with warm water, and it has a nice living room too if you want to relax a little bit. Really good beds, quiet area so you can sleep very good at night. Just a little bit outside for walking by foot in the town, but that is no problem since Emma is so friendly and will for sure arrange everything that you could go and come back there.
