Very spacious and tastefully decorated with a large entertainment area and balcony with a view to the spectacular mountains. The reception by our host, Ashley, was warm-hearted and welcoming. She went out of her way to suggest outings and make bookings for dinner/lunch making us feel instantly at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and should we come back would stay there again.

Firstly, you realise you are staying in the most beautifully gardened guest house - coupled with a friendly greeting and some freshly baked muffins (wonderful touch of class!). The Nut Hut itself is very well equipped with plenty of utensils and other provisions needed for self catered accommodation - impressive. The communal lapa was awesome and such a nice place to relax by the pool or watch tv. Truly a gem of a guesthouse run by a lovely team/family! Can not recommend highly enough!

We were met by the lovely host Karen, who made us feel very welcome. She upgraded our room, and was very helpful and informative. The facilities were cozy and nice, and the staff super friendly and helpful. We traveled for work and was relying on Wifi, as well as using the self-facilities to cook. This was no problem at all. In the evening we used the braai by the pool, and the outdoor area which was very nice and equipped. We used the laundry service on site, and had the opportunity to have breakfast made for us when we wanted. It was very easy and safe to park on the premises. Also, no problem at all to arrive early or late after a full day of hiking or climbing in Rocklands.

Nelda was welcoming, friendly and very helpful. She advised us on things to do in Clanwilliam and went out of her way to get information on best spots to view the wild flowers. The property met all my expectations and the thoughtfulness of providing fruit, milk, cereals, yoghurt, tea, coffee, biscuits for our arrival made it extra special. It was our first time staying at Kleinfontain and their Safari tent, completely exceeded all our expectations! The actual tent, patio and bathroom area was perfect, spacious and comfortable. Nico and Marietjie thought of everything one would need while out on a stay in Rockland's. The photos on booking of the tent doesn't do the space justice! We were bouldering and would definitely be coming back to their beautiful farm, as hosts they were impeccable and cannot be faulted. Many thanks and cannot wait to return!

The location of our cottage was exceptional, almost built into a rock. The most unique accommodation we had on our 16 day trip through the Cape. Unbelievably peaceful. Kitchen facilities were superb, including ground coffee and coffee maker. Everything for self catering was provided for. Very comportable king size bed and beautiful bathroom with outside shower. Nice walks directly from the cottage. Additional bonus: No cellphone reception, kept my wife off her phone for 2 days. Highly recommended.
