Gorgeous property surrounded by mountains, fruit orchards and vineyards, water, and a nature reserve. Property was about a 12 minutes drive into Franschhoek town, restaurants, and vineyards. What stood out was Tim’s exceptional hospitality. He was so helpful in planning our stay, making recommendations, making reservations, etc. He even helped us find and book a reservation at our next stop. Thanks, Tim! Wonderful stay amongst the vines to the front and a pretty little garden/stream to the back. The gite is very nicely furnished and modern, exactly like the photos. We appreciated all of the thoughtful touches, and Antoinette the host was super friendly and attentive. The location was perfect - not far from the center of town and even more important - just a 5 min. walk to the terminal for the famous Franschoek wine tram. We also enjoyed a soak in the hot tub after dinner a couple of nights.
