The care and attention shown by Leo was a standout for us. Finding accomodation for a family can be hard but the sized rooms were great value for money. We were travelling on a budget but this property exceeded our expectations. Leo breakfast and birdwatching was outstanding. A lovely pool to cool off in. A taxi ride is $4 to town and a bus station right outside, there is a great view of Arenal from a spot in the pool area and in the dining deck. We were lucky enough to see toucans and monkeys in the trees above and Leo was in hand with his telescope. Tje night frog tour was engaging and fun - we also saw an owl.

Situated within 6 km of La Fortuna Waterfall and 5.1 km of Kalambu Hot Springs, Suwa Villa Arenal offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Fortuna. It was just perfect! The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. The rooms were tidy and cleaned every day. We couldnt have asked for a better place to stay in la fortuna. And all that for a very reasonable price. Excellent!

Boasting garden views, Nirvana Apartament Hostal provides accommodation with patio, around 34 km from Poas National Park. Really lovely, fantastic spot with beautiful rooms and a little garden. Highly recommend and easy to get to the airport.

Situated in Alajuela City in the Alajuela region, with Alejandro Morera Soto Stadium nearby, Mario y Jeannette features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The accomodation is located at the perfect place if you have an early flight or you arrive on a flight late at night. The facilities are just what I expected, very clean and you have everything you need for your stay. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are big and they have a nice kitchen and living room. It was the perfect place to rest after a late night flight. One big plus is that Taco Bell, McDonald's, KFC and many other small restaurants are located at a walking distance from the accomodation. That's very convenient in case you want to get something to eat late at night or very early in the morning.

Situated just 30 km from Poas National Park, Airport Traveler's home. Features accommodation in Alajuela City with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as private check-in and check-out. Our stay was lovely. It is an excellent value for money. The hostel has a quiet and chilled atmosphere. The hammock area is especially pleasant :) Roman, the host is very kind and helpful. The kitchen is very well equipped. If we go through Alajuela again we will definitely try to book again.

Bungalow Batsù is a recently renovated apartment in Fortuna, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. The air-conditioned accommodation is 17 km from La Fortuna Waterfall.... It was so nice and cosy , the host family were very helpful. Like a small home from home.

Featuring inner courtyard views, Airport SJO Residence - Edward & Familia Inn features accommodation with balcony, around 33 km from Poas National Park. Cute & clean little appartment. I had a warm welcome & immediately felt like home. Edward is very kind and helpful. The location is great as well as it‘s near to the airport and I felt very safe there.

Located in Fortuna, the recently renovated Apartamentos M&M provides accommodation 5.1 km from La Fortuna Waterfall and 5.4 km from Kalambu Hot Springs. Very well equipped kitchen. Nice and helpful owners. We got the room a bit earlier than our check in time. Super clean!
