Las Bromelias Lodge has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Paso Macho, 28 km from Cerro de la Muerte. Beautiful location, plenty of space to sleep, relax, have meals plus great views. Very helpful staff that visited the house while we were away and prepared fireplace for us after we used wood the day before. Perfect location to explore Savegre forest and this area. In the cottage we found a contact to very good, profesional birdwatching guide.

Villas del General ligger i San Isidro i San José-området og har gratis privat parkering. The friendliness of the lady in the reception and her trust in us! In addition we got a bigger apartment which was not so warm. It is within a very safe place and with a code for the door, which makes it very easy.

Boasting a garden, Hospedaje Casa Monge is situated in San Gerardo de Dota, within 17 km of Cerro de la Muerte. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the apartment free of charge. Perfect little hut. A bit cold at night but there are sufficient warm blankets. We saw several Quetzals nearby. Highly recommended.
