It was an amazing stay. Unfortunately just for one night, but I can definitely imagine longer stay in such a cozy and beautiful place! It was very clean and well equipped and the surroundings were awesome. ☺️

Neil and Kay treat you like family. They are kind, and generous (loaned us high vis jackets for our bike rides), sewing items to repair my slippers, and are excellent cooks. Breakfast was generous and very tasty. Local fish, fresh fruit, eggs, toast and preserves. Bed was perfect. So comfortable. Perfect location down near the pier.

Everything was amazing, the hosts were kind and generous. 5 of us booked 3 rooms and we all had great experience. Their lounge area is wonderful as well. I would definitely recommend it.

Situated in Kirkwall, 16 km from Maeshowe and 18 km from Standing Stones of Stenness, Orkneyinga offers air conditioning. The property is in an excellent location. We were very impressed with the unit, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There was a very nice restaurant right across the road. We were a bit surprised at how far the ferry terminal was from the room. From google maps it looked like a 7 minute walk, but would have been at least 20-25 min, so be sure to take the bus from the terminal. Being a bit technically challenged had a bit of trouble figuring out the washer/dryer, but once we got that figured out it was so nice to get some clothes cleaned.
