Breakfast was right on time, based on the time we agreed the night before. Lovely tasting cup of coffee and a nice cold cup of orange juice. Chrissie was the perfect hostess. Pleasant smile, nice little conversation. Brilliant location just 7 minutes walk from my meeting venue the following morning.

The property is very close to shops, good restaurants and access to public transport. We stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment. The apartment is spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Beds are comfortable. The lounge area is an absolute delight. We made good of the gym and running track. Next time we’ll visit the cinema room and possibly use the BBQ facilities. Contrary to what previous guests mentioned in their reviews, I had no difficulty finding the car park, I was able to register my rental car for parking on the same day and i had no issues with check-in and check-out times. It is worth-noting that I called them about a day or two in advance to discuss these. I strongly recommend that.

We arrived with heavy suitcases, two young men took our bags up for us, with smiles and lively chats! We had lunch, food was amazing, but huge portions…for us. We told the young man the food was superb, it was just a generous portion and we were not able to finish it. We had an early morning flight to catch, we left the hotel at 6:00 AM. We were told where to leave the room key and how to let ourselves out. All with smiles! Excellent hotel, loved the charm and it was so clean, we loved our stay, we were sorry it was only for one night. We are from Calgary Canada, possibly we will come back again to visit.

Absolutely fabulous pretty home. So cosy, so clean and the owners obviously have very high standards! Loved the Christmas decorations.. The welcome pack was so lovely and thank you for the mince pies missed those living in the USA! The main bedroom was huge had a fabulous comfortable kingsize bed and fabulous mattress with beautiful linins and white fluffy towels. The 2nd bedroom beautiful too. Kitchen fabulous with everything I needed for cooking breakfast,pots and pans and gorgeous Spode China. Great washing machine but no dryer which wasn't a problem. The location is great too with resturants/pubs all within walking distance ..looking forward to returning soon...thank you Jo & Darren for making my stay so so comfy...I didn't want to leave!
