My stay at Maher house was an amazing experience. The location is walking distance from Borobudur, a literal 1O minutes. And, in the same area there is a whole street of stores and places to buy food. Maher house is located in the village, which is great because you get to enjoy village life and maybe interact with the friendly locals. Plus, there’s a lot of cool chickens walking around. Maher house was very clean, and it had a very peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast in the morning was made fresh and it was delicious! Yusuf and his wife were great hosts, their main objective is for their guests to be comfortable. Thanks again!

Not only are Ika and Yani very hospitable and lovely people, they have a true and genuine passion for what they do. Ika provides you with all the info you can possibly need and will never grow tired answering your questions. The room is comfortable, clean and has a good and quiet airco and hot shower (but you probably want a cold shower). Yani makes you a delicious breakfast. Very highly recommended!
