He was always available to give us information and even organized a trek and transport for us. Also his family is very sweet. We felt very welcome in their home.

Honestly, you don't need a review to even consider booking this space. Just go for it. Loved the positive vibes of this place. The lunch was amazing. Bagel the beagle will great you on your arrival and Ashok ji who is the caretaker is super helpful too. I just wish Jammu had a Uber/ola service to make moving around better. Let's hope development happens in that sector soon. Beautiful area to walk around with it's hustling and bustling markets and parks. I honestly wish I had a home like this.

I had an excellent experience staying at Lhachik Guesthouse. I had only planned to stay for a few days prior to trekking, but do to an injury ended up staying for about weeks and am very happy I did. The owners are very welcoming and accommodating. They have a comfortable rooftop with great views and good chai is always available. Dinner is available at a reasonable price and is excellent. The rooms and facilities were clean and comfortable. It is located in a tranquil neighborhood within close walking distance to everything of interest. It will be the first place I look to stay next time I am in Leh.

Through Whatsapp, Jigmet gave us plenty of advice about all aspects of our trip in advance of our journey to Ladakh. We stayed in his family home for 3 days to acclimatise and 3 days at the end of our tour before we flew back to Delhi, and indeed, it really felt like home. It is located at walking distance to the town centre, yet it is in a quiet area. We stayed in 2 different bedrooms. Both were very spacious and clean, with an ensuite bathroom and many windows. The building features beautiful traditional wooden architectural sculptures. The bedrooms open to a lovely terrace where one can enjoy the sun on a lounge chair or a breakfast, lunch or dinner. Kunzes Angmo is a lovely motherly lady who cooks beautiful food. Bagerat is a young man who was always attentive to our needs, helpful and pleasant. Thank you all for your welcome. We miss you!

A Mentokling Guest House and Garden Restaurant, uma propriedade com jardim, está situada em Leh, a 300 metros do Soma Gompa, a 1,8 km do Namgyal Tsemo Gompa e a 6,1 km do Museu da Guerra. A very large and useful room. It has a view and huge windows. The service and food in the restaurant is also outstanding. As a location, it is very close to the Leh market, almost 1 minute walking distance.

We stayed for a week and had a good experience throughout. The location is pretty good - a 10 min walk from the main market and close to the good eating places & cafes in the town. The surrounding area is peaceful (even though everything in Leh seems to be under construction :-). The views from the guest house (and the rooms) are simply amazing - you can see the snow-capped mountains in the distance, the tall green poplar trees, and their apple & vegetable garden. Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We all had good sleep throughout. The food we had was homely and consistently good. Their cook came only in the last couple of days we were there but served delicious, hot, and fresh food. We also did some work here and the WiFi internet was pretty well most of the time. The best part of our stay was the excellent service provided by Sonam, his parents, and the crew. Right from the booking to check in to the stay and checkout, everything was friendly and helpful. Overall, it was an excellent value for money.
