Holly House Homestay, a property with a garden, is located in Ella, 48 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden, 49 km from Horton Plains National Park, as well as 500 metres from Ella Spice Garden. This was our best stay in Sri Lanka, in 28days! The hosts are very sweet and kind, a pleasure to meet them! The room is very pretty, super clean and the towels and bedding smelled very good and fresh! It's located on the hill, very close to the main street where you find all the restaurants and coffees in Ella. Would definitely stay again!

Set just 42 km from Gregory Lake, leisure Mount View features accommodation in Haputale with access to free bikes, a garden, as well as a shared kitchen. The view. The cleanliness. The value for money. The staff. Almost everything. I stayed there for 2 weeks last February. I liked the hotel a lot. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Hashan the owner treated us as his own guests. He is very generous and hospitable. The food was very delicious and authentic. Haputale is very calm place and less touristy than Ella. I loved it more than Ella. It is surrounded by tea plantations, and very ery close to Horton Plains and Lipton’s seat. The hotel arranged trips for us to those places and to Udawalawe National Park. The roads around the hotel are great for trekking.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Rainbow Sky Cottage is a recently renovated homestay located in Ella, 6.5 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge. Rainbow sky cottage is a lovely family business. Fabulous views over the railway line and valley. You can scramble down to the track and turn right for Kital Ella, the small Ravana falls and Ella Rock. Turn left for Ella station, nine arch bridge, little adams peak etc. Beds are comfortable, food is excellent and showers are hot. Chandu will help with your logistics needs too. Service is top notch

Featuring mountain views, Aloft View offers accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 5.7 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge. We highly recommend this accommodation when you‘re staying in Ella. The views are phenomenal and the room is very special with the glass fronts facing the beautiful mountain sights. The location is in walking distance from the city center and only 400-500 LKR with the tuk tuk on the way back (up a hill). Perfect for couples. The host was extremely friendly and offered a lot of help with transfers etc. Breakfast was also very good.
