There was 50s Americana all over the place! Ingrid was extremely kind in arranging to collect me from the railway station because it was raining in Kil. Ingrid couldn’t have done enough for me, and I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Kil.

The peace and tranquillity was idyllic. As was the proximity to the lake and forest walks. Cabin was toasty and cosy and the outdoor eating area was a bonus. Wished we could have spent longer there.

There are many activities to keep you busy, such as kayaking, swimming, bike riding, and there are also boats with electric propeller engines you can borrow, and even charcoal grills to do some outdoor cooking on by the water or by the lovely pagoda they have built. We greatly enjoyed our stay, and hopefully some day we will return 😊

El THE LODGE Torsby es un establecimiento de tipo alojamiento y desayuno histórico situado a 18 km al norte de Torsby y a 50 km de Sunne o Malung. El hotel increíble, muy bonito. Las habitaciones perfectas, limpias, cama cómoda… El personal del hotel nos trató muy bien. La estancia fue genial. Lo recomiendo. The hotel is incredible, very beautiful. The rooms are perfect, clean, comfortable bed… The hotel staff took great care of us. Our stay was great, I recommend it.

El Guesthouse Eleven está situado en el pintoresco pueblo de Jössefors, en una antigua escuela que data de hace aproximadamente 100 años. a converted school building, it was conveniently located on our route to Norway. We found the Dutch owners very hospitable and going out of their way to please guests. Atmosphere as well as food (we had moose stew...) were very good, rooms clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.
