Very clean and cosy B&B (or minsu 民宿, as they call it in Taiwan). I had a single room which is quite small but exactly suitable for one person. All of the amenities were brand new. For same price in Taipei one could expect a run down place with a sparkle of creepiness, but this B&B was exeptionally good. Location is also great, just 400 meters away from the Meinong Bus station and downtown area. Free bicycles provided for customers is also amazing, since Meinong is extremely walking unfriendly. getting around on a bicycle or scooter is a must.

Very clean, spacious and friendly for families(considering two young boys). The coffee shop space was a nice bonus for us to sit around during the evening. They also offer a lot of free snacks and instant noodles. The staffs were super supportive and responsive. They called us for noticing the light still turned on in our parked car. They also help mail back my jacket which I accidentally left in the room.

Kaohsiung 85 Building Sam's house is set in Kaohsiung, 2.4 km from Love Pier, and provides free WiFi. Among the various facilities of this property are a shared lounge and a bar. Sam's House is such a wonderful place to stay! The staff are very friendly and helpful, our accommodations are modern and clean with a spectacular view, and the location in the city is perfect. The VIP lounge and washing machines are so convenient. This is my first visit to Taiwan and I'm glad I chose to start my adventure with a stay at Sam's House.

No socializing area, however, so consider this if you're looking to meet new people.

OX Suites provides accommodation in Kaohsiung. The property is located 600 metres from The Pier-2 Art Centre and a 5-minute walk to MRT Station. Near train station, youbike and 7-11 just across the street and the room is clean and neat. The owner are very friendly. He sent me details informations of recommended restaurants and nearby attractions. Will be back for sure!

One of the highlights of our visit was Madam Xu's kind gesture of personally driving us to the HSR station on the day of our departure. This unexpected act of kindness truly touched our hearts and made our experience at Luna's House even more memorable. Madam Xu's genuine care for her guests is evident in every detail, from the adequate pantry she has for guests, to the thoughtful advice she offered about exploring Kaohsiung. Her dedication to providing exceptional service is commendable and sets Luna's House apart as a top-notch homestay option in the area. Without a doubt, I will be returning to Luna's House Homestay on my next visit to Kaohsiung.
