The 1708 House is gelegen op 2 km van Gin Beach en biedt een tuin en een gedeelde lounge. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een patio en gratis WiFi. Location is perfect as it is nestled along the main street. We could walk to most places easily. We took the LIRR and took an Uber to 1708; we got Ubers almost immediately. The property is extremely charming and so lovely; it is like stepping back in time. It is a wonderful place to take a break after the hustle and bustle of NYC. We stayed in the cottage and were very happy with the amenities within it. Breakfast is amazing; John is so cheerful and friendly and his food is incredible! Great start to our days. The kitchen is also open to guests so we were able to get drinks and snacks even after hours. That is a great convenience to us as well. I would highly recommend 1708 to anyone visiting Southampton for the first time.

We were given an informative & amusing tour by Jim who showed us 3 of the beautifully decorated rooms. A lot of thought & consideration has gone into the styling & history of each room. The beds were extremely comfortable with soft, warm linen. The rooms were large & would easily accommodate a family. It's located in a quiet street with plenty of parking onsite. As the building was double walled it provided a peaceful sleep. Donna cooked a delicious breakfast of waffles & fresh fruit. Endless tea & coffee provided with a story from Jim. Would highly recommend staying here. Wonderful hosts & history to this school building.

Het verblijf was fantastisch. Alles keurig verzorgd, op en top was aan alles gedacht. Heerlijk ontbijt, ontzettend vriendelijke eigenaren (voelt aan als familie, alles was super schoon, gezellige muziek, prachtige kamers en rustige omgeving (naast het park) Dichtbij de metro (church avenue). Het voelt als thuis!! We hebben genoten. We waren een week in New York (in B&B). We hopen zeker nog een keer hier terug te komen want het verblijf bij A and Faye maakte onze vakantie in New York helemaal geweldig en zorgde voor een top vakantie in New York!! The Wilderness Inn: Chalets in Wilmington biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de tuin, een tuin, een terras, een restaurant, een bar en een barbecue. My fiancée loved the fireplace and the big kitchen space. Very picturesque cabin and location overall. The hosts are extremely responsive. We had a small issue with the wifi, and they fixed it for us right away. We would definitely come back here again.

Exceptional Bed and Breakfast and a great, welcoming start to our short road trip. Comfortable, spacious room and the breakfast was totally delicious. Homemade banana muffins and avocado on toast with poached eggs. Had dinner at the Brook Tavern (which was situated beneath our rooms, no noise at all from there) and that was excellent too. Highly recommend.

The neighborhood is historic, many nice cafes, restaurants etc and a nice local feeling Boris, the host, is a lovely guy - warm and easygoing, and great to see his art everywhere in the house
