Lovely traditional cabin in a fantastic location. spacious yet very warm and cosy. kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of utensils etc. plenty of logs for fire. sauna was fab after a day in the snow. it was perfect for our holiday

Stena Cabins & Apartments is situated in Äkäslompolo in the Lapland Region. Guests here can enjoy an impressive view of Ylläs ski resort. Cross-country skiing is possible just outside the door.

We had the most wonderful stay in one of the perfectly equipped and super cozy cabins which are located right in front of the cross-country ski slopes and close to a couple of very nice cafés. A car is useful but not absolutely necessary as close by bus connections are available and the very helpful housekeeper kindly drives you to and from the cabin on arrival and departure day. All in all a true gem and we will most certainly come back next year!
