I enjoyed remote location in the forest. House looks better than I expected based on photos; being on two floors creates spacious feeling. Efficient heating. Private waterfall couple of hundred meters away with maintained path from the accommodation. As most of the nights I was alone in the house, the waterfall was just for me. The house at Ponta Delgada was superb. When we arrived, we met the owner, who was very helpful and kind. They gave us some cookies and a pie as a welcome present. The place was very clean and it had a beautiful garden full of different kind of plants. We had the oportunity to get some fresh eggs every morning, because they had some hens. The jacuzzi was a big reward after all day long walks. The beds were extremely comfortable and the house had good details as a bbq and a Wii, that gave us funny moments. The kitchen was well equipped, although we would appreciate a dishwasher.
