It was soo nice clean and comfortable and we felt very safe with their ADT guy checking up on us regularly....Jackie was soo nice with communication... Thabo and the other guy i forgot his name were the perfect hosts Thabo is such a vibe and was really sweet..

The host sent us a location prior which was very helpful in us arriving without getting lost. The rooms were clean and comfortable and they had a back up plan for loadshedding so the holidays were not disturbed.

I am admittedly biased, since the original house was designed and built in 1960 by my frandfather Casper Krüger, great-grandson of the legendary Paul Krüger, which the present owners have subsequently converted into the 4-star Kassaboera lodge. Having grown up here, several of my cousins and I recently used the occasion of a family reunion to return to this grand old home to rekindly fond memories, wondering if the intervening 60 years had altered any of our recollections at all. What a pleasant surprise it was to discover that the present owners, Manie and Amanda, have done an excellent job here in the restoration of this special place! All the charm of the original house remains, with the high, thatched roof and spacious interior, but now with modern luxuries and conveniences added, such as the beautiful swimming pool and lovely gardens. From here it is still possible to undertake long, leisurely strolls along the lake. Now I am happy in the thought that this remains one of my favorite places on earth.

Offering an outdoor pool and hot tub, La Montagne Guest Lodge is situated in Hartbeespoort in the North West Region, 6 km from Aerial Cableway Hartbeespoort.

Lovely and peaceful setting with spectacular views. Friendly staff and could not do enough for us during our stay. Owner was fantastic and very welcoming. It was lovely to stay somewhere different to boring hotels. We loved our visit and would definitely return and recommend to others.

As a Family we had a great stay, the house is very spacious and clean. Location for us was perfect and a very well managed quiet neighbour hood. The pics on BDC was not near as good as the facility itself! This is an enormous home with 3 bedrooms. Awesome place. Communication with the owner/manger was above expectations, she was on it every time and super informative and helpful through out our stay!

    The estate is well kept, the house had all we needed during our stay. The pool is beautiful.
