Ficar num chalé-barraca no meio do semi-árido africano foi um experiência divertida. Meus filhos (bem grandinhos) adoraram. Ficamos preocupados com o calor do chalé quando chegamos (o ar condicionado não estava funcionando pela falta de energia que assola o país). Depois aprendemos que abrindo as "janelas", o ar ventila muito e a temperatura fica agradável. Marcamos um safári de suricatos e conseguimos ficar um bom tempo contemplando os lindinhos. O acesso para outras atrações da região (vinícola e fazenda de avestruz é fácil). Tem uma pequena piscina na recepção e os atendentes são super solícitos.

We discover this Lodge in a very quite and green area withgreat views. And then we met the owner - Len - who has a amazing sense of hospitality and upgrade our stay to another level of happiness. We felt directly welcome and this feeling stays there during all our stay. The lodge was also offering and amazing dinner that we enjoyed the 2 nights with high quality food and wines. On top of that, we were surronded by lovely and friendly dogs that my children enjoyed to play with. Definitly a higly recommended place to stay.

This is an amazing location. Elza and Albert were super nice and have a great eye for details. The breakfast has a wide variety (bigger than restaurants). Thanks for the nice stay! After leaving, we noticed that even our car was cleaned from outside. Best location during our SA roadtrip!

The best thing about the property is the hostess Elna. She and her husband run the place with a lot of love for hospitality. This is typically why we prefer a bed & breakfast/lodge type of place over a hotel. Apart from the warm welcome, Elna gave us some amazing information on the area and some sightseeing we could do. This made all the difference for our stay.

Wonderful place. Evening drinks looking over the animals was a great experience. Owners were great hosts and very helpful. Lots of small thoughtful details in the cottage. Also a good base for other activities in the area.
