The location is isolated, very close to nature feeling. The rooms are tastefully designed. More than anything we enjoyed the service. The staff do above and beyond to please the guests.

We loved the attention to detail! Beautifully appointed, this guest Lodge lacks nothing. Our room was luxurious, the lodge itself spacious and well decorated. We loved the huge outside patio, perfect for lounging in the sun or stargazing at night. The hosts helped us with activities and restaurants. Good location . A very enjoyable stay!

Only 10 km from the famous Cango Caves, De Poort Country Lodge offers self-catering accommodation. A continental breakfast is available on order at an extra charge and only available as room service.

The best thing about the property is the hostess Elna. She and her husband run the place with a lot of love for hospitality. This is typically why we prefer a bed & breakfast/lodge type of place over a hotel. Apart from the warm welcome, Elna gave us some amazing information on the area and some sightseeing we could do. This made all the difference for our stay.

Located 20 km from Oudtshoorn, Zwartberg View Mountain Lodge is nestled amongst mountains and the famous red hills. This tranquil retreat offers walking and hiking trails.

Stop looking further and book the Zwartberg Mountain View Lodge, it is magnificent! We stayed for two nights with our four children (9-14 yrs) and absolutely loved the lodge, the view, the animals on the grounds, the pool, the braai dinners and the walking trail. Varley and Hannalize are fantastic and helpful hosts and we very much enjoyed talking to them about life in SA as well as the many great sites in the area. We could easily have stayed another night or two. A highlight on our trip. Easy accessible with any car. Hope that we will visit again one day!
